Starting of 2000 The Department of Geomatics Engineering is in the process of continuous improvement on education which is also certified by the ABET two times so far (in 2005 and 2011). For this reason, many stakeholders, such as students, graduates, employers, have been communicated many times in different occasions and tried to determine the current situation and future of industry expectations. As a result of long-term evaluations and preparations according to those improvement efforts the Department has ended with a brand new curriculum approved by the Senate in December 2015 which is effective starting on the fall semester of 2016-2017.
